AR Murugadoss is all set to make his comeback to Tamil cinema with Sivakarthikeyan's Madharaasi and there has been massive anticipation surrounding the action film. While the film's trailer suggested an intense actioner, acting coach Rajesh, who was associated with the film, denied the assumptions.
In an exclusive interview with Cinema Express, Rajesh said, "If you watch the movie, you will realise that Madharaasi is not all about action. People are assuming that the film is action-heavy after watching the trailer. On the contrary, it has many cute and sensible love scenes between Sivakarthikeyan and Rukmini Vasanth. I have seen the film scenes on set."
He further set hopes on Rukmini and Sivakarthikeyan, stating that their have worked well. "There are equal amounts of action and romance in the film," he revealed.
Rajesh had previously trained for several leading stars such as Siddharth for Chithha, Soori and Harish Kalyan. Keerthy Suresh, Priyanka Mohan, Aditi Shankar, and Athulya Ravi were some of the female actors he had also coached. During the conversation, he had revealed that Sivakarthikeyan recommended him to AR Murugadoss for Madharaasi.
While the trailer does not reveal many details about the story, it establishes that the male lead is affected mentally after a major explosion. Opening up about a few details regarding the same, he shared, "While there is a medical reasoning for Sivakarthikeyan's issue, the story won't delve deep into it like Ghajini did."
Madharaasi marks AR Murugadoss's return to Tamil cinema after seven years. He last made Salman Khan's Sikandar. The film also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Vikranth and Shabeer Kallarakkal in the lead roles, alongside Prem Kumar, Sanjay and Sachana Namidass. Vidyut is reuniting with Murugadoss after Thuppakki (2012).
The technical crew of the film includes Anirudh as the music composer, Sudeep Elamon as the cinematographer, and Sreekar Prasad as the editor.
The film is releasing on September 5 alongside debutant Varsha Bharath's Bad Girl and Bala's Gandhi Kannadi.
