As earlier reported, Actor Natty, who was last seen in Right, alongside Arun Pandian, is all set to headline Kambi Katna Kathai for his next. Directed by Rajanathan Periyasamy, the comedy entertainer will hit theatres on October 17, ahead of Diwali festival.
The trailer, unveiled by the makers on Tuesday, features Natty as a trickster and fraudster, reminiscent of his critically acclaimed performance in Sathuranga Vettai (2014). This time, he dons the guise of a spiritual guru to con devotees and swindle their money. Running parallel to this is a heist plot centered around a priceless emerald gem. The two threads collide, leading to a comedy of errors packed with chaos and entertainment.
The film also stars actors Singampuli, Java Sundaresan, Kothandan, Mukesh Ravi, Sairadhi, Karthick Kannan, Shalini Sahoo, Aishwarya, and Karate Karrthi, among others.
On the technical team, Kambi Kadna Kadhai has cinematography by MRM Jaisuresh, editing by SN Fazil and music by Satizsh Selvam and art direction by Siva Yoga. The film is backed by Uthraa Productions and is presented by Mangatha Movies.
