
In an unusual crossover, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor had two surprise guests seated next to him during a recent flight journey to Chennai. Sharing few selfies, Tharoor expressed his happiness on meeting actors Anupama Parameswaran and Rajisha Vijayan on the journey and wished them success on their upcoming film Bison, directed by Mari Selvaraj and headlined by Dhruv Vikram.
He posted on his X handle, stating that they were "delightful" co-passengers and wrote, "Found myself on a flight to Chennai with two young stars of the Malayalam film industry, Anupama Parameswaran and Rajisha Vijayan. They were delightful company and I wish them all success in their upcoming release Bison!"
Bison, which is described as a film of "perseverance, determination and survival", also stars Lal, Ameer, Pasupathi, Kalaiyarasan, Hari Krishnan Anbudurai, Azhagam Perumal, and Madhan Dhakshinamoorthy and is slated for a release on October 17 ahead of the festive occasion of Diwali.
Anupama, who made her debut with the successful Malayalam film Premam (2015), is now working simultaneously in the Telugu and Tamil industries. After four years, she returned to her home turf in Malayalam with Suresh Gopi-starrer JSK: Janaki V v/s State of Kerala. This year, she also had a slew of films including Pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon in Tamil, and Paradha and Kishkindhapuri in Telugu. Apart from Bison, she also has The Pet Detective in Malayalam.
Rajisha is also a Malayalam actor known for films like June, Kho Kho, Karnan, Jai Bhim and Sardar. Besides Bison, she has Mammootty's Kalamkaval and Kattalan in Malayalam and Karthi's Sardar 2 in the making.
