Actor Kavin is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, Mask, helmed by Vikarnan Ashok. Also starring Andrea Jeremiah, the film is all set to hit theatres on November 21. In a recent interview with Cinema Vikatan, the actor spilt details about his next film with Nayanthara, Hi.

First, the actor praises composer Jen Martin while also speaking about collaborating with Hi's director, Vishnu Edavan. "The last schedule of Hi is left to be completed. I will complete it immediately after the release of Mask. Hi is Vishnu's first film, and I would have always been happy for his debut. It brings me more joy that he's debuting with a film in which I play the lead. This also marks my fourth film with Jen Martin. It is still sad that he has not received the recognition he deserves. I hope he gets that recognition through Hi. The album he has delivered for the film is wholesome. Four of the songs from the album have become my favourites. We've been listening to these songs for more than a year now. I'm waiting for the audience to hear them too."

Speaking about collaborating with Nayanthara, he added, "Apart from this, working with Nayanthara is something that is still a dream for many. Making something of myself in cinema itself was a dream at one point. But getting an opportunity to work with Nayanthara is beyond a dream come true. The film is quite literally a family drama. Some have speculated that the film happens overnight. But that's not the case. This happens over many days and nights. It is a pakka family entertainer."

Vishnu Edavan, who worked as an assistant director with Lokesh Kanagaraj, is also known for his lyric-writing skills. On the technical front, cinematography is handled by Rajesh Shukla, editing by Philomin Raj, music by Jen Martin, and art and stunt direction by Sekar B and Dinesh Kasi, respectively. Hi is produced by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Productions, along with Rowdy Pictures and Zee Studios.

Meanwhile, Mask also stars Ruhani Sharma, Bala Saravanan, Archana Chandhoke, and Charlie. Andrea is also producing the film under her The Show Must Go On banner alongside Black Madras Films' SP Chockalingam. Vetri Maaran, who serves as a mentor for the film, is also a previous producer for it.
