Producer Sujatha Vijaykumar, who has produced many films of Ravi Mohan including the recent Siren penned a statement regarding the allegations that Ravi Mohan levied on Aarti Ravi and his family. #SujathaVijayakumar asserted that his statements are false, claiming that she has been paying interest on all the loans she took for the actor's films, and added that she possesses complete documentation to support her claims

Her statement comes days after Ravi Mohan posted a long letter on social media a few days ago, where he accused his “estranged ex-wife” of reducing him to just being a provider and pushing him in financial burden. He said he was being trapped in massive financial loans as sureties "with the sole intention to selfishly enrich herself and her parents into luxury while ensuring that not a single penny of my earning was sent to my own parents for more than 5 years." His four-page letter came as a response to Aarti Ravi allegations that he has walked away from his responsibilities as a father and Ravi Mohan hadn't monetarily or emotionally supported her in this journey even as she faces eviction notice from the bank "on the instructions of the man who once built the home with her."

Sujatha underlined that she has spoken out before Ravi Mohan's "repeated lies might be mistaken for truth." She elaborated her journey into production and how Ravi Mohan had encouraged her. "Under his suggestion, I produced Adangamaru, Bhoomi, and Siren, all starring Jayam Ravi as the lead. For these films, I borrowed over Rs 100 crore from financiers. I paid 25% of that amount as remuneration to Jayam Ravi. I have complete documentation, including contracts, bank transfers, and the taxes paid on his behalf," she wrote.

She said that she sees him not just as a son-in-law, but as his own son. "That’s why I always ensured he wouldn’t have to face any difficulty," she noted. "As a woman, I’ve endured great pressure—signing agreements in every paper in the early hours of the morning, facing several crores of losses and handling relentless stress—all on my own. I have been the only one paying the interest on all the loans," she emphasised and revealed, "Even during the release of Siren, Mr. Jayam Ravi only gave a letter stating that he would act in my next film to compensate for the losses. He never signed any agreement anywhere or at any time stating that he would take financial responsibility or repay the debts." She asked him to furnish evidences, if any, wherever he wishes, if she had made him responsible for even one rupee.

Furthermore, Sujatha wrote about Ravi Mohan selecting a director by himself for his next film, asking her to pay the advance amount, which she reveals that she did without any hesitation.

"I only have one humble request for him: we always see you and celebrate you as a hero. But the falsehoods being said in these statements, just to gain sympathy in the ongoing issue, are pulling you down from that heroic image. I want you to remain a hero forever. You call me "Amma" with so much love—this is your mother's only wish," she added.

On his personal life and marital strain with Aarti Ravi, she said that she wishes that her daughter and son-in-law live together in peace. "The pain of watching a once-happy daughter live in sorrow can only be understood by a mother's heart. That misfortune is something no parent should ever have to endure," she said, concluding her statement with a request to media to not portray her as someone who wrecked her daughter's family or a mother-in-law who tormented her son-in-law.
