The makers of 3BHK held a success meet on Monday, featuring the film's cast and crew, among others. At the event, actor Devayani spoke about what made the film special to her. After thanking director Sri Ganesh for choosing her for the film, the actor said, "I have been in the industry for around 30 years now, but it is the first time I am seeing such preparation for a film. The industry requires it." She also said that Sri Ganesh made the film with plenty of care, showing much confidence on the project and with the motivation to make it a grand success. The actor praised producer Arun Viswa's treatment of the cast and crew during shoot and at the film's promotions, saying it seemed like 'family-like'. Devayani described Arun as "one of the best producers."
The actor mentioned that it is the first time in her career that she watched one of her films with its cast and crew as well as the audience and received their response. She cited the 'rarity' of film viewing as a communal experience at a time when films with 'violence' and 'tension' dominate.
Devayani thanked her 3BHK co-star Sarathkumar. "Whenever I do a film with him, it becomes successful." Many films featuring the two are considered successful, such as Surya Vamsam, Thenkasi Pattanam, Samasthanam, and Paattali. She praised Meetha Raghunath and Chaithra Achar, describing them as "such lovely co-stars", and hailed the film's cinematographer Jithin Stanislaus and composer Amrit Ramnath as "really talented" technicians.
The actor forgot to mention co-star Siddharth during her speech. As someone from the film's team reminded her of it, she held her face in embarrassment and immediately apologised for it. "I forgot to mention my son (onscreen son) in all the happiness," she shared, eliciting big smiles from Siddharth and Meetha. "Siddharth has been so involved with the project from the first day. All his films and characters are so different," she said before lauding the actor's attention-to-detail during the film's making. As Devayani got back to her seat, next to Siddharth, the two shared a laugh at the former's near miss.
