It is well known that shooting for actor Legend Saravanan's sophomore film directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar is going on in full swing. The upcoming film is touted to be a mass, action, suspense thriller, which is said to be in line with today's trends. Speaking to fans and media during a recent event, the actor revealed that the yet-to-be-titled film is in its last leg of production and will be released for the festive occasion of Diwali.
"The shooting of my next film is in full swing and has reached the final stage. The shooting and post-production work will be completed soon. We are planning to release the film in theaters all over the world for Deepavali," Legend Saravanan said during his relative's wedding. "More announcements on the project will be made soon. Overall, this Deepavali will be our Deepavali, everyone's Deepavali," he added.
Apart from him, the cast also features Payal Rajput, known for her roles in Telugu films like RX 100, Venky Mama and Mangalavaaram as the female lead. The rest of the cast members include Shaam, Andrea Jeremiah, Baahubali Prabhakar, Santhosh Prathap and Baby Iyal. The action-packed film is said to be based on real incidents set against the backdrop of Thoothukudi.
On the technical team, the film will have music composed by Ghibran, cinematography by S Venkatesh, and editing by Pradeep. It is produced by The Legend New Saravana Stores Productions.
Legend Saravanan made his debut with the 2022 film The Legend. The action film, directed by JD–Jerry, starred himself along with Urvashi Rautela, Geethika Tiwary, Prabhu, Vivek, Suman, Yogi Babu and Nassar as supporting actors.
Director Durai Senthilkumar is best known for his films like Ethir Neechal, Kaaki Sattai, Kodi and Pattas. Last year, he made Garudan with Unni Mukundan, Soori and Sasikumar playing lead roles which was well-received critically and commercially.
