We had previously reported that actor Legend Saravanan is filming for sophomore film directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar. With the first schedule wrapped up recently in Chennai, the makers have finalised the lead cast for the yet-to-be-titled film.
Actor Payal Rajput, known for her roles in Telugu films like RX 100, Venky Mama and Mangalavaaram, is set to play the female lead. The rest of the cast members include Shaam, Andrea Jeremiah, Baahubali Prabhakar, Santhosh Prathap and Baby Iyal.
The second schedule of production is currently underway in Panicka Nadar Kudiyiruppu in Thoothukudi, which is Saravanan’s hometown. Following this, the shoot will also take place in Georgia, Mumbai, Delhi, and other locations.
The action-packed film is said to be based on real incidents set against the backdrop of Thoothukudi.
On the technical team, the film will have music composed by Ghibran, cinematography by S Venkatesh, and editing by Pradeep. It is produced by The Legend New Saravana Stores Productions. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
Legend Saravanan made his debut with the 2022 film The Legend. The action film, directed by JD–Jerry, starred himself along with Urvashi Rautela, Geethika Tiwary, Prabhu, Vivek, Suman, Yogi Babu and Nassar as supporting actors.
Director Durai Senthilkumar is best known for his films like Ethir Neechal, Kaaki Sattai, Kodi and Pattas. He recently made Garudan with Unni Mukundan, Soori and Sasikumar playing lead roles.
