Actor Kishen Das made some honest confessions, conveying his love for Rajinikanth and how much the superstar means to him, as the latter completes his golden jubilee in cinema this week. Rajinikanth's first film Apoorva Raagangal released in theatres on August 15, 2025. Taking to his Instagram stories, Kishen wrote a few lines that offer a glimpse into his journey with Rajinikanth. The actor said that he "was taken for Padayappa" and "asked to be taken for Sivaji" as well as that he "skipped class for Enthiran", "missed culturals for Lingaa", "ran from viva for Kabali", "worked on merchandising for Kaala" and "ran from shoot to watch Jailer."

Kishan also said that he watched Petta at an early morning show to put out a review of the film. "A lot has changed but my love will never!" he concluded his post before wishing Rajinikanth well for his future journey as an actor.

Rajinikanth stars in director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie, which marks the 171st film in his acting career. Produced by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures, the film also stars Upendra, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan, among others. Set for a worldwide release, the film has cameos from Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde as well.
