Retta Thala teaser: The makers of the upcoming film Retta Thala released the teaser for the film recently. The film which stars Arun Vijay in the lead, is directed by Kris Thirukumaran, a former associate of AR Murugadoss.
The short teaser shows the story of the film being set in Goa, with Arun Vijay's character being hinted as a gangster named Upendra. The teaser also shows Arun with two different looks, hinting at different storylines being involved. But the common theme hints at Arun Vijay's character being pitted against an antagonist seeking revenge.
The cast of Retta Thala includes Sidhhi Idnani, Tanya Ravichandra, Yogi Samy, John Vijay, Hareesh Peradi, and Balaji Murugadoss. Siddhi, who is known for her role in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu was also seen in Sudipto Sen's The Kerala Story.
Sam CS is composing the music for the film, with lyrics by Karthik Netha, Viveka, and Sam himself. The crew of the film includes Tijo tomy as the director of photography, Anthony as the editor, and Arunshankar Durai as the art director. Manikandan serves as an executive producer on Retta Thala. The film is produced by Bobby Balachandran. BTG Universal is the banner backing the film. A release date is yet to be announced.
