Anirudh is currently on a promotional spree for Coolie, Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming action thriller with Rajinikanth. The well-known singer-composer, known for his love for American television series, Breaking Bad, recently confessed his love for the show and how he incorporated elements of it in his films and everyday life.

In an interview with Sun TV, when he was probed about references to Breaking Bad in his career, which includes collaborations with lyric writer Heisenberg, naming his studio Albuquerque Records and incorporating its reference in Coolie's 'Powerhouse' song, he laughed and replied, "For everyone some show or film will always inspire them. For me, it is Breaking Bad. Annamalai and Baasha too were an inspiration for me at that time. But going forward, there is nothing more left. I have used everything. If I have to take some other element from it, I need to deeply think about it."

Speaking about the mysterious lyric writer whose identity has not been revealed to public eye, he explained, "Heisenberg's lyrics form a core part of mine and Lokesh's collaborations, even though nobody knows who he is. We wanted to bring him into the 'Thalaivar universe'."

Elaborating on Heisenberg's origins, he elaborated, "It genuinely started from Vikram. We found him at that time. We didn't plan on keeping his identity a secret, but social media users started digging his history and questioned who he was when Vikram's album did well. A lot of fake profiles are now saying they are Heisenberg. We also played along. Let it be a mystery. It is nice that way. May be, who knows, by the next album, we might have a Jesse Pinkman."
