The audio launch of the film will be exclusively telecast on Sun TV on September 22

A new audio launch poster of Vijay's new film Bigil is out. In the poster, we see the actor's trademark stare with a knife in his right hand. The poster is fire-themed with footballs surrounding the actor who is sporting a jersey and a lungi.

The audio launch of Bigil will be held on September 19 at Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, and it will be exclusively telecast on September 22 at 6:30 PM on Sun TV.

Meanwhile, Vijay has issued a statement requesting his fan club members not to place hoardings and banners for the audio launch. This announcement came after a flex banner erected for the marriage of an AIADMK functionary’s son fell on a 23-year-old Software Engineer in Chennai.

Bigil, a sports drama, directed by Atlee, also stars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, and Vivekh in important roles. Vijay, who plays dual roles in the film, features as a women football team coach. AR Rahman is composing the music for the film, which also has actors like Indhuja, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha, and Reba Monica John playing footballers.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Bigil is slated for release this Diwali.
