Another surprise update on Bigil / Thalapathy 63 coming up?

The much-anticipated first look, the second look, and the title of Vijay’s upcoming film with Atlee, Bigil. were released yesterday on the occasion of the actor's birthday. The first look had the actor in two different avatars — a footballer and an older Vijay wearing a veshti. The second look poster, which was released later at midnight, shows Vijay in four avatars. 

Now, a tweet from Thalapathy 63 aka Bigil’s creative producer Archana Kalpathi has aroused curiosity among the audience. It has lead to speculations that it could be an indirect announcement on another update about Bigil.

Bigil is touted to be a sports drama, with the Sarkar actor playing a football coach. Starring Nayanthara as the female lead, the film also features Indhuja, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha, and Reba Monica John as footballers, whose team will be coached by Vijay's character. Apart from them, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Vivekh, and Yogi Babu are also part of the film, playing supporting characters.

With the film in its final leg of the shoot, we hear that the team will be moving to Delhi soon to shoot some important portions. Earlier this month, AR Rahman, the composer of Bigil, had taken to Twitter to announce that the first edits of two songs from the film are ready.

Produced by AGS Entertainments, Bigil is slated for a Diwali release.
