Yogi Babu and Vinay join Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor

Priyanka Arul Mohan, who shot to fame with Nani’s Gangleader, will be playing the female lead

We had recently reported that Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film with Kolamavu Kokila director Nelson Dilipkumar has been titled DoctorNow, the team has officially confirmed that Yogi Babu and Vinay, who was last seen playing the villain in Mysskin's Thupparivaalan, have joined the film's cast. This is Yogi Babu's second collaboration with Nelson after Kolamaavu Kokila.

Also, it has been announced that Priyanka Arul Mohan, who shot to fame with Nani’s Gangleader, will be playing the female lead in Doctor. While details about the rest of the cast are still under wraps, it is speculated that the film will feature Bigg Boss-fame Kavin and Thumbaa-actor Dharshan.

Doctor is bankrolled by the actor's home banner, Sivakarthikeyan Productions, in association with KJR Studios, the producers of Hero, Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming project with PS Mithran. 

Sivakarthikeyan's frequent collaborator Anirudh has been roped in to compose music. Incidentally, Anirudh had also worked as the music director for Nelson's debut film, Kolamavu Kokila. 

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is currently gearing up for the release of PS Mithran’s Hero. The film, which also features Arjun, Abhay Deol, and Kalyani Priyadharshan, will hit the screens on December 20.
