Allu Arjun, Trivikram’s film titled Alakananda?

After a brief hiatus, Allu Arjun is back with a new film and it will be directed by Trivikram Srinivas. With the working title #AA19, the film was launched with a customary ceremony on April 13 with veteran producer Allu Arvind in attendance.

Fans of Allu Arjun are eagerly awaiting the film's title and speculations are rife that Trivikram has zeroed in on Alakananda. Although Trivikram and the team are tight-lipped about this, it is believed that Alakananda is one of three titles shortlisted by the makers.

While Pooja Hegde plays the female lead, Tabu has been cast as the mother of Allu Arjun's character in the film. With music by SS Thaman and cinematography by PS Vinod, the principal shooting of the film will commence on April 24 in Hyderabad. Said to be a romantic actioner, it is bankrolled by Allu Arvind and S Radha Krishna.
