Soon after the massive success of Off Campus season 1, featuring Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli), Prime Video has set its eyes on the lead couple for season 2. Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis, portrayed by Mika Abdalla (Sex Appeal, Snack Shack, The Pitt) and Stephen Kalyn (Gen V, Motorheads, Cruel Intentions), respectively, will now be the stars of the upcoming season.
While fans have been anticipating their romance to bloom since the first season, the news has excited fans of the show which has soared exponentially, thanks to the positive word-of-mouth on the young adult romance.
Season 1 follows "an elite ice hockey team, and the women in their lives, as they grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery—forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood," per the official logline. Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) enter into an agreement to get the latter's test scores high, but they unexpectedly begin to fall in love with each other.
Season 2 is also set to star Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks and India Fowler, with Philipa Soo returning.
Off Campus creator Louisa Levy recently confirmed in an interview that all eight episodes of season 2 have been written and they have a "very exciting plan for the season." "I don’t want to say anything yet — but I think book fans will be very excited," she added, underlining that Hannah and Garrett will "still be an integral part of our robust ensemble."
Based on Elle Kennedy’s eponymous bestselling book series, Louisa Levi is co-showrunning Off Campus alongside Gina Fattore, with both also executive producing it. Additional executive producers include Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and James Seidman for Temple Hill, as well as Leanna Billings of Billings Productions and Neal Flaherty.
