Netflix unveiled a final trailer for Volume 1 of the Stranger Things finale on Monday, ahead of its premiere on November 26. Mike, Dusty, Lucas, Will, Nancy, Jonathan and Steve are on a mission, united to see Vecna's heart on a platter. While their intentions are brave, their plan seems ambiguous. Meanwhile, Eleven is on her own mission to bring Vecna down, but that seems to come with its own set of challenges. The trailer for volume 1 of the final season hints at an action- and suspense-packed finale.
The upcoming season will see the return of beloved characters played by David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley), Priah Ferguson (Erica Sinclair), Brett Gelman (Murray), Jamie Campbell Bower (Vecna), Cara Buono (Karen Wheeler), Amybeth McNulty (Vickie), Nell Fisher (Holly Wheeler), Jake Connelly (Derek Turnbow), Alex Breaux (Lt. Akers), and Linda Hamilton (Dr. Kay), along with the main antagonist Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna.
Set in the middle of 1987, the new season starts right where the fourth season ended, with Hawkins facing its most dangerous foe, Vecna.
The fifth season of Stranger Things is set to release on Netflix in three volumes. The first volume, consisting of four episodes, is premiering on November 26. The second volume, consisting of three episodes, is premiering on Christmas. The finale is releasing on December 31. All the volumes will be released at 06:30 am on the respective release days.
