The makers of Amal Neerad’s upcoming actioner Bachelor Party D’eux unveiled two new character posters on Thursday, introducing Nadiya Moidu as Anna Mathews. Both posters feature the Nokkethadhoorathu Kannum Nattu actor in black attire and glasses, sporting a serious look. This marks the film’s first female character reveal and Nadiya’s reunion with Amal following the Mammootty-starrer Bheeshma Parvam, her last Malayalam film.
The makers recently introduced Chandu Salimkumar as Mammu and Shine Tom Chacko as Guru, following the character reveals of Sreenath Bhasi as Xavi, Naslen as Sony, Soubin Shahir as Dani and Sharaf U Dheen as Pappan.
Scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 19, Bachelor Party D’eux also stars Kunchacko Boban, Rajisha Vijayan, Jyothirmayi, Hansika Krishnakumar and Paris Laxmi in key roles, with Tovino Thomas appearing in a cameo. The technical crew includes cinematographer Appu Prabhakar, editor Vivek Harshan and music composer Christo Xavier. Unni R, a frequent collaborator of Amal, has penned the dialogues.
Produced jointly by Amal Neerad Productions, Anwar Rasheed Entertainments and Fahadh Faasil and Friends, the film is a spiritual sequel to Amal Neerad’s 2012 film Bachelor Party.
Nadiya’s last Malayalam project was Sherlock, part of the ZEE5 anthology Manorathangal, which also starred Fahadh Faasil. Her last feature film appearance was in Let’s Get Married, a Tamil romantic comedy released in 2023.
