Recently, we reported about Prabhas meeting Kishkindha Kaandam director Dinjith Ayyathan. The meeting sparked some speculation about the superstar and the maker of critically acclaimed films collaborating on a future project. The speculation is only likely to become more intense, now that Dinjith Ayyathan has shared the latest compliment he received from the Baahubali star.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Dinjith shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp text message he received from Prabhas about Kishkindha Kaandam. The message read, "Hi sir. Saw KK. Extraordinary climax. Loved it." Prabhas also described Dinjith as a filmmaker who showcases "an international touch" in his films.

As caption for his post, Dinjith wrote, "Started my day with a beautiful message from Prabhas sir... Truly made my day special."

Prabhas' assertion about how Dinjith's films have the look and feel of international cinema is a popularly held view among the audience. For example, many have found elements of Christopher Nolan films, such as their nonlinear narrative style and exploration of certain psychological themes, in Kishkindha Kaandam and Eko. In a recent interview with CE, addressing comparisons between Kishkindha Kaandam and Nolan's cinema, the film's cinematographer and writer Bahul Ramesh said, "Although I am a die-hard fan of Nolan and consider The Prestige (2006) one of my all-time favourite films, Memento was never an inspiration for me. Many other films explore themes related to memory, but I wasn't particularly concerned with them or inspired by them. What may have influenced me is the emotional resonance of the relationship aspects in films like Interstellar (2014) and Inception (2010)."

Since their recent meeting, fans have been speculating that Prabhas and Dinjith would do a film together. It is certainly going to excite movie buffs if at all such a project materialises, especially because Dinjith is known for his content-driven cinema and Prabhas is popular for his mass action films.
