Dinjith Ayyathan is going places. At least, this appears to be the case, judging by his social media activity. While the filmmaker made his debut with 2019's Kakshi: Amminippilla, he has become more popular following the success of films such as Kishkindha Kaandam (2024) and Eko (2025). Recently, he met actor Dhanush, who praised his work on both films as a director. Subsequently, there has been some speculation about whether Dinjith would direct a film starring Dhanush. Meanwhile, the filmmaker has met another big star in Indian cinema.

Earlier this Tuesday, the Kishkindha Kaandam and Eko director shared a picture featuring himself with Prabhas that is taken from their recent meeting. In the caption, he wrote, "Meeting with superstar Prabhas. A wonderful evening filled with great conversations, laughter, and a lovely dinner. Truly loved the prawns biriyani!"

Dinjith then expressed his gratitude to Prabhas for the treatment he gave the director. "Thank you, Prabhas sir, for the amazing hospitality and for making it such a warm and memorable evening."

Dinjith Ayyathan also expressed his gratitude to producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films for making the meeting with Prabhas possible. For the uninitiated, Prabhas starred in Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, a Hombale Films production. It is worth noting that Hombale Films and Prabhas got into a three-film deal recently, according to The Hollywood Reporter India. There is already some speculation about whether Dinjith has told a story or pitched a project to the superstar. According to reports, Prabhas is a massive admirer of Dinjith's psychological thriller Eko, starring Sandeep Pradeep, Biana Momin, Narain, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Saheer Mohammed, among others.

Eko released in theatres in November last year and earned more than 50 crore at the global box office. The film is now streaming on Netflix. On the other hand, Kishkindha Kaandam is available on JioHotstar.
