The makers of I'm Game, starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, unveiled a striking new poster from the film on Sunday through their social media handles. The poster, accompanied by the caption "Suit up. It's time," features a stylish Dulquer dressed in an all-white suit and sunglasses, striking a confident pose beside a luxury car. Surrounded by lights, smoke effects and a cheering crowd, the actor exudes a flamboyant, larger-than-life persona.
Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, who made an impressive directorial debut with the action entertainer RDX (2023), I'm Game marks Dulquer's return to Malayalam cinema after King of Kotha (2023). The upcoming film is slated to hit theatres worldwide on August 20 as an Onam release.
The story is by Nahas, while the screenplay is co-written by Bilal Moidu, Ismail Aboobacker and Sajeer Baba. Dialogues are penned by Shahabas Rasheed and Aadarsh Sukumaran. The film has an ensemble cast featuring Antony Varghese Pepe in a pivotal role, while acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Mysskin makes his Malayalam acting debut. Tamil actor Kathir, Kayadu Lohar and Samyuktha Viswanathan also play significant roles.
Backed by Dulquer and Jom Varghese under the Wayfarer Films banner, I'm Game is currently in post-production. The technical crew includes cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, composer Jakes Bejoy, editor Chaman Chakko and action choreographers Anbariv. Apart from Malayalam, the film will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
