Actor Mohanlal was spotted at the FIFA Men's World Cup quarterfinal match between Argentina and Switzerland. The match was conducted at Kansas City, USA on July 12, at 06:30 am IST.
Videos of Mohanlal recording the surroundings as the Argentinian players were warming up, before the match emerged. Mohanlal, sporting his look for the upcoming film Anthimanoharam, also posed along with fans for photos. Singer Muralikrishna also took to his social media to share some photos of Mohanlal along with his father, businessman KS Balagopal.
Argentina qualified for the semifinals of the tournament, after beating Switzerland by two goals. Alexis Mac Allister scored for Argentina on the tenth minute, which was later equalised by the Swiss winger Dan Ndoye in the 67th minute. Julian Alvarez and Lautaro Martinez score a goal each in extra time, sending Argentina into the seminfinals. Lionel Messi and his men will face England in the semifinals.
Mohanlal who was seen alongside Mammootty in Patriot and in Jeethu Joseph's Drishyam 3, will next be seen in the Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer Khalifa, which is set to release in Onam.
