Ahead of the release of his next film Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, actor Nivin Pauly delivered a speech at a college in Kerala recently that has since gone viral on the internet. Nivin's words, encouraging female students at the college, have received plenty of appreciation from netizens. Now, actor Anupama Parameswaran has also supported Nivin's views.

Anupama shared the clip of the actor's viral speech on her Instagram Stories space and captioned the post, "This man told it to me 12 years ago." It is worth noting that Nivin and Anupama starred in the 2015 film Premam, which marked her acting debut.

In his speech, Nivin spoke about the restrictions that women face in society. He said, "Whether knowingly or unknowingly, girls are controlled. They are told not to do certain things, not to go to certain places, not to wear certain clothes, and to return home early. Whether knowingly or unknowingly, they face restrictions at home, in college, and in the hostels where they stay."

He added, "There is no distance you cannot run toward, no height you cannot reach, and no obstacle you cannot overcome. Enjoy your life. Work for peace. Work for your desires and dreams. No one is going to do anything for you. Move forward courageously."

In a recent conversation with anchor Dhanya Varma, Anupama Parameswaran spoke about being in a toxic relationship with someone for the last two years. The actor said that the unnamed man did not allow her to go on promotions for her film Dragon and that he treated her in a way that made her uncomfortable. "On some days, he would be 'Remo'. You would feel incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful person in your life. The next day, he would be 'Anniyan'. He would behave in the most cruel manner," the actor said.
