

The other day, the makers of Sree Ayyappan, an upcoming film starring Aneesh Ravi in the lead role, dropped the film's first-look poster and announced its release window on social media. The film, which marks Vishnu Venjaramoodu's directorial debut, is set to hit theatres in December in multiple languages, which include Malayalam. The latest announcement comes a couple of weeks after Mallika Sukumaran launched the film's title on her birthday. The film also stars Riyaz Khan, Poojappura Radhakrishnan, Sudhir, Kottayam Ramesh, and Kudassanad Kanakam. Hindi actor Ansar, too, plays an important character in the film. It is described as a thriller with devotional elements.
On the technical front, Sree Ayyappan has cinematography by Kishore and director Vishnu himself, music by Jeevan Soman and Vaishak Sreeragam, editing by Akhil Sreekumar, and background music by Sherry Shaji. Vishnu Venjaramoodu is directing the film from his own screenplay and with dialogues by Swapna.
Shaji Punalal and Dr Sreekumar Pillai are producing the film. Aadhi Media and Nisha Productions are the banners associated with it. According to a press release, songs play an important part in the film. It has as many as seven tracks, including a devotional song. Reportedly, production work is still going on for Sree Ayyappan.
