According to a complaint filed with the Kengeri police, and as per reports Manish Gowda was allegedly dragged into a car and assaulted by Samrat and his associates. Manish is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
The incident reportedly began on Monday evening in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, where Samrat and his friends were travelling in a Gypsy. Manish and his friends, who were in an i20, allegedly overtook their vehicle, leading to a minor altercation between the two groups.
The complaint alleges that the dispute escalated on Tuesday afternoon when Samrat and his associates allegedly confronted Manish outside RV University on Mysuru Road. They are accused of forcibly taking him into a Safari and assaulting him.
Both Samrat and Manish are students of the same college. Police have registered a complaint and begun investigating the allegations.
