We had previously reported about the makers of the Ayushmann Khurrana-Sharvari starrer Yeh Prem Mol Liya locking November 27 as their film’s release date. On Saturday, the team announced the commencement of their film’s promotions by sharing the release date of its title track. Himesh Reshamiyya is the music director for the upcoming Sooraj Barjatya film.
Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro, the film's title track will be released at a grand ceremony on September 20, Sunday. The makers also released a brief clip of the song on their Instagram page. Among other fans, Farah Khan, Mayur Puri and Anjali Adesh Anand reacted to the announcement with enthusiasm. “Goosebumps,” Farah wrote in the comments section.
By the looks of the first glimpse, where the two protagonists can be seen gently clasping hands as they play a piano, Yeh Prem Mol Liya has a musical backdrop, with one of the protagonists likely to be a musician or a singer.
What also makes the song release unique is that the performance of a grand live orchestra, conducted by Himesh Reshamiyya at Royal Opera House, Mumbai where the event will be held. Yeh Prem Mol Liya marks Himesh’s second collaboration with Sooraj Barjatya after Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo (2015).
Rajshri Films is co-producing the film with Mahaveer Jain films. The film also marks the maiden collaboration between Ayushmann and Sharvari. The supporting cast of the film includes Anupam Kher who has frequently collaborated with Rajshri Films in the past. Cinematography is helmed by Manoj Kumar Khatoi.
The makers completed the shoot of their film in July this year. Yeh Prem Mol Liya marks the 8th feature film directorial for Sooraj Barjatya in his 38 years as a director. His previous film was Uunchai (2022).
Upon it’s release, the Ayushmann-Sharvari starrer will clash against Emraan Hashmi-led Gunmaaster G9.
