Mirzapur: The Movie, the film spinoff of the Prime Video series Mirzapur, continues to wreak havoc at the ticket counters. On Monday, the film showed impressively steady collections, storming past the 150 crore mark at global box office.
The film collected Rs 16.00 crore nett at domestic box office, and Rs 2 crores gross in overseas territories on day 4, according to Sacnilk. The drop falls in the range of standard 50-60%, which is very impressive considering the stupendous figure of Rs 36 crore nett on Sunday.
It is to be noted that the film has registered considerably higher occupancies in Delhi-NCR as compared to other key markets like Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, and Ahmedabad — a trend that has been prominently visible since it released on Friday.
As of Monday, the film has collected Rs 154 crore worldwide, also entering the 100 crore club at domestic boxoffice. Going by the trend, Mirzapur: The Movie is highly likely to add another 50 crores by the end of its 1st week.
The film also entered the top 10 list of highest grossers of 2026 so far, leaving behind Cocktail 2.
Written and co-created by Puneet Krishna, Mirzapur: The Movie has in the lead cast Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Abhishek Banerjee, and Shriya Pilgaonkar. In another exciting development, Divyenndu returns as Munna Bhaiyya.
Additionally, Jitendra Kumar will be seen playing Bablu Pandit, instead of Vikrant Massey. Also marking his entry in the Mirzapur universe is Ravi Kishan as Babban Babua Yadav.
In our review for the film, we noted, “It works better as an extended special episode than a big screen mass mayhem experience. Still, there is some assured storytelling at work here. Thankfully, the makers don’t resort to futile excesses for some quick bucks. The Mirzapur universe doesn’t go gun-crazy.”
