

We had earlier reported about Sohum Shah announcing Tumbbad 2, the sequel to 2018 hit Tumbbad. The makers are reportedly planning to lift up the scale from the original, which too was praised for its production values.
According to sources, Tumbbad 2 team is planning to have an extensive shoot for their film, not compromising on the quality. Reportedly, the makers are shoot for more than 200 days, to achieve the desired look and output, raising the bar from Tumbbad franchise.
A few weeks ago, we had reportedly about Nawazuddin Siddiqui being signed for a prominent role in the film. Sohum Shah, who is producing the film in collaboration with Pen Studios, is also part of the lead cast. Adesh Prasad, who was the co-director for Tumbbad, is helming direction for the sequel.
Notable technicians like concept artist Simon Lee and prosthetic designer Shaune Harrison have also been brought on-board for Tumbbad 2. Details about other prominent cast and crew members are yet to be revealed.
