Indrajith Sukumaran is coming back to Hindi cinema after a long time with a role in Bandar, directed by Anurag Kashyap and starring Bobby Deol in the lead role. The last time the actor worked in Hindi is in 2010 for The Waiting Room.

Earlier this Thursday, Indrajith shared his thoughts about the upcoming film, director Anurag Kashyap and his co-star Bobby Deol. "Ever since being spellbound by Gangs of Wasseypur, I had this deep wish to work with Anurag Kashyap some day. And like the saying goes, when you wish for something deeply, the universe works to make it happen. And then, outta nowhere BANDAR manifested," Indrajith wrote.

The actor added, "Thank you Anurag Kashyap for the learning experience! Working and spending time with you was a masterclass on cinema, life and everything in between. Love and respect.."

Indrajith also had effusive praise for Bobby Deol. Tagging his Bandar co-star in the post, he wrote, "You are one of the most humble and honest co-actors I’ve worked with, this will be ur best! Grateful to have met and worked with so many lovely people and amazing artists.."

The actor also described the film as being "gripping, heart wrenching, thought provoking and chaotic all at once!" He also shared some behind-the-scenes stills from the sets of the film.

For the unversed, Indrajith is best known for his performances in Malayalam films such as Meesa Madhavan, Classmates, Chanthupottu, Baba Kalyani, Happy Husbands and Left Right Left, among others. In Malayalam, his home turf, the actor also collaborated with director Lijo Jose Pellissery, who is known for a similar auteur-driven approach to filmmaking, with raw realism and hyper stylistic narratives, such as Anurag Kashyap.

Coming back to Bandar, the film is scheduled for a June 05 release in theatres.
