On Wednesday, Dhamaal 4, the latest instalment of the Dhamaal franchise continued its successful run at the box office. On its 13th day, the comedy earned Rs 2.75 crore nett.
According to Sacnilk, the film has now surpassed the domestic collections of Welcome To The Jungle (WTTG), another major franchise comedy which released a few days ago.The nett domestic collections of Dhamaal 4 now stand at Rs 134.66 crore.
The sustained steady run of Dhamaal 4 is particularly impressive considering it had strong competition from the massive Hollywood vehicle, The Odyssey, which released last week and has been performing phenomenally.
As far as the box office records of 2026 are concerned, Dhamaal 4 is now behind only 3 films — Dhurandhar 2, Border 2, and Bhooth Bangla.
It is to be noted, however, that thanks to a considerably huge release in overseas market, Welcome to The Jungle is still ahead of Dhamaal 4 in terms of worldwide collections. However, considering there is no major Hindi release for the next 2 weeks, Dhamaal 4 is likely to cross WTTG's worldwide figures too.
Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 boasts of a massive ensemble cast. While Ajay Devgn leads the ensemble, other actors in key roles include Sanjay Mishra, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Riteish Deshmukh, Ravi Kishan, Anjali Anand and Sanjeeda Shaikh. In our review for the film, we noted, “The film constantly tries to sell itself to the rock-bottom denominator. When they have exhausted the physical comedy, they get on with the callbacks and the force-fitted references.”
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn has another major release lined up this year with Chauhaan. Directed by Neeraj Yadav, the actioner is set to release theatrically on October 1. The title announcement teaser of the film was unveiled 4 weeks ago.
