The shoot for date night horror thriller Ragini 3 has begun. The film starring Tamannaah Bhatia went on floors in London on Thursday. It is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2027.
The film is the third part in the Ragini MMS horror franchise which had its first outing in 2011 with a Rajkummar Rao and Kainaz Motivala starrer. It was followed by Ragini MMS 2 in 2014 starring Sunny Leone.
Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Ragini 3 has been described by a PR note as a film “mixing scares with romance and unexpected turns and promising a fresh take on the genre, while keeping the franchise’s signature edge.”
Earlier it was reported that Junaid Khan will also be a part of the project.
Produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd., Ragini 3 is currently being filmed across London, with more details about the cast and story set to be unveiled in the coming months.
