The trailer of Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor starrer survival-thriller Tu Yaa Main was unveiled by the makers on Thursday. The creature-feature, directed by Bejoy Nambiar, revolves around two influencers and a crocodile that comes between them for an unanticipated collab.
The trailer opens with a hand choosing a VCR tape of Khoon Bhari Maang (1988). The iconic scene of Rekha being thrown in crocodile-infested waters plays on a flat-screen TV. In between the sequence, we are introduced to Maruti Kadam, aka Aala Flowpara (Adarsh), a gully-rapper from Nalasopara, and Avani Shah aka Miss Vanity (Shanaya), an upscale influencer. The two meet, flirt and decide to go out of the city for a collab, but soon they find themselves fighting a crocodile in, what seems like, an abandoned swimming pool. The trailer promises many blood-curdling moments, as Maruti and Avani try to find ways to escape the reptile.
Tu Yaa Main is produced under the banners of Colour Yellow and Bhanushali Studios, with Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Vinod Bhanushali, and Kamlesh Bhanushali serving as producers. The film is slated for theatrical release on February 13, where it clashes against another intense love story O’Romeo, starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, among others.
