Vicky-Katrina’s baby named after Uri protagonist?

We had earlier reported about Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif naming their first born Vihaan. The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday evening.

However, netizens were quick to spot that Vihaan was also the name of Vicky Kaushal’s character in Uri (2019), which was directed by Aditya Dhar.

Speculations rose further when Aditya Dhar took to the comments section of the said post to congratulate the couple, where he too mentioned the Uri character. “Mere Vikkuuu, from bringing Major Vihaan Shergill to life on screen to now holding little Vihaan in your arms, life really has come full circle,” Aditya wrote in his comment, adding,  “All my love and blessings to the three of you. You’re both going to be extraordinary parents.”

Besides Aditya, many other fans too pointed out the Uri connection in the comments section and on social media.

For the unversed, Katrina Kaif and actor Vicky Kaushal welcomed their first child on November 7, 2025.

Meanwhile, Aditya Dhar is currently busy shooting Dhurandhar 2, which is scheduled to release in theatres on March 19, 2026, clashing against the much-anticipated Yash-starrer Toxic. The first glimpse of the film was unveiled earlier this morning.
