We had previously reported about Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur collaborating for a romantic drama titled Do Deewane Seher Mein. The official trailer of the film was released online on Wednesday.
Directed by Ravi Udyawar, Do Deewane Seher Mein tells the story of Shashank and Roshni, two young professionals who could not be more different than each other. While Roshni is a pragmatic young woman, Shashank is more of a romantic. The two meet each other under an arranged marriage setup, and sparks don’t fly instantly.
However, what brings the two close is their own share of insecurities — For Roshni, it is her physical appearance while for Shashank, it is the fact that he says ‘Sa’ instead of ‘Sha.’ How Shashank and Roshni navigate their differences as they struggle to complete their love story forms the crux of the narrative.
Do Deewane Seher Mein boasts an impressive ensemble cast, with actors like Ila Arun, Joy Sengupta, Ayesha Raza, Viraj Gehlani, Sandeepa Dhar, Deepraj Rana, Mona Ambegaokar, Achint Kaur, and Naveen Kaushik on board. The script is written by Abhiruchi Chand. In the technical team, the film has cinematographer Kaushal Shah and editor Monisha Baldawa, among others. Hesham Abdul Wahab has composed music.
The romantic-drama is set for a theatrical release on February 20, clashing with Taapsee Pannu starrer Assi at the box office. The film is jointly presented by Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions, and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal and Bharat Kumar Ranga in association with Ravi Udyawar Films.
