The teaser of Dhurandhar’s second part, titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is out. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film will see Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan reprise their roles.
The over a minute teaser gives us blink-and-miss glimpses into Ranveer’s Hamza Ali Mazari’s reign over Pakistan’s Lyari after the killing of Akshaye Khanna’s Rehman Dakait. There are also shots of Hamza’s previous life as Jaskirat Singh Rangi and we see him extracting revenge on someone, possibly because of the death of his parents. Glimpses of Sanjay Dutt’s SP Chaudhary Aslam, Arjun Rampal’s ISI head Major Iqbal and Madhavan’s IB director Ajay Sanyal are also seen. The second part promises more gunfire and gore.
Earlier today a blood-red poster of Ranveer as Hamza Ali Mazari/ Jaskirat Singh Rangi drenching in the rain was shared by the makers.
Dhurandhar is a spy thriller that released on December 5. The film featured Ranveer as an Indian spy infiltrating Karachi’s underworld and dismantling their nexus with terror groups. It also starred Akshaye, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. Dhurandhar has emerged as one of the biggest hits in Bollywood history, minting over Rs 1300 crore worldwide. It has been produced by Aditya Dhar along with Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. It is presented by Jio Studios and is a B62 Studios production.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is slated to release on March 19.
