After getting injured while filming an action sequence on the sets of his upcoming film with Kabir Khan, Kartik Aaryan shared a series of pictures and videos on Instagram updating his fans after undergoing a knee surgery for the same.
Kartik made the post on Sunday. One picture shows him in a knee brace, while another has a simple message written across it that reads, "Foot out of service."
He also shared a black-and-white picture from what appears to be a Mumbai hospital. Among the pictures was also a photo of his pet dog.
He captioned the post with a reference to his injury, writing, "Kabir sir said - Break a leg."
Director Kabir had a funny response to the post. He wrote in the comments, "HaHaha... Bhai Har baat itni seriously mat sunna karo (Hahaha…Bro don’t take everything I say so seriously).”
Kartik had injured his knee while doing an action sequence on the sets of the Kabir Khan film. He was taken to Fortis Raheja Hospital in Mumbai, where he underwent surgery. His spokesperson confirmed that the surgery was successful and that Kartik is now back home.
The actor is expected to rest for a few days before returning to work.
This is not the first time Kartik has hurt his knee while shooting. He had also suffered a knee injury while filming Shehzada, which was released in 2023.
Kartik has worked with Kabir before, on the 2023 film Chandu Champion for which the actor also won the National Award.
