Many have come up with their renditions of the song on social media. The latest to do so is actor Madhuri Dixit, who has impressed the makers and Sharvari with her rendition of the track.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Madhuri put out a video where she can be seen lip-singing 'Maskara' with the soulful expressions that she she is known for. In the caption for her post, she wrote, referring to the quality of the song, "It's always a joy when music and storytelling come together so beautifully. Cound't resist this one."
In response to Madhuri's post, actor Sharvari wrote, "This just made my day! Thank you sooo much ma'am. Aapki Adaayein!! Uffff!"
For the unversed, 'Maskara' has lines that praise female beauty with phrases such as 'Shokh Adaayein'. Alluding to the phrase and Madhuri Dixit, Netflix, which is streaming Main Vaapas Aaunga, wrote in response to her post, "The absolute queen of shokh adaayein." On the other hand, the film's production banner Applause Entertainment added, "Maskara has never looked this graceful."
Meanwhile, AR Rahman shared Madhuri's rendition of his composition on his Instagram Stories space, as did Imtiaz Ali with his appreciation for her grace. Several fans of the actor also gushed over her expressions and beauty in the comments section.
Released in theatres on June 12, 2026, Main Vaapas Aaunga overcame its slow start at the box office through positive word of mouth and reportedly earned around 100 crore from theatres worldwide. The film continues to receive positive feedback after its recent release on Netflix as well.
