We had previously reported about Arjun Bewakoof, a dark comedy headlined by Sanjay Mishra that went on floors a few weeks ago. The makers have now wrapped up the shoot for their film. The final schedule of Arjun Bewakoof was completed recently in Prayagraj.
The team also shared a few photos from the wrap-up party. Directed by Smita Singh and co-created with Anand Raaj, Arjun Bewakoof also features Rajesh Tailang and Dolly Singh in the lead cast. Additionally, the ensemble cast includes Malvi Malhotra, Jigisha Joshi, Shikhar Mishra, and Satendra Yadav.
With Arjun Bewakoof, the makers promise to dig deeper into a genre-blending narrative, fusing neo-noir suspense with dark comedy to create a distinctive cinematic experience. Sharing their thoughts on the wrap, the makers described their film as ‘a bold attempt to challenge stereotypes around indie cinema in India.’ They emphasised that the film aims to strike a fine balance between gripping suspense and sharp, situational humor, offering audiences something refreshingly different.
Arjun Bewakoof brings back the team behind Andaman, which had garnered critical acclaim for its storytelling and performances. The project is backed by 8th Pillars Motion Pictures. A release plan for the film is yet to be announced.
