Recently, we reported about Ravie Dubey starring as Lakshman in director Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram. Earlier this Saturday, Ravie shared his excitement over his Lakshman poster being shown on a large screen along Times Square in New York.

Sharing clips and a picture from the venue, the actor wrote, "Wow… did you guys just put me on Times Square?! After all these years, I realize how blessed I am to have fans who have become family. I just saw this, and I’m honestly overwhelmed. Thank you for this love…it means everything. Jai Shri Ram."

Ravie Dubey's post comes only a few days after the release of the Lord Ram glimpse. There have been many different reactions to the glimpse video. Back then, many made AI allegations against the makers and criticised Ranbir's casting in the titular role, and some also questioned the period-specific authenticity of the setting and certain characters.
