Bobby Deol, who is set to play a crucial role in Aryan Khan’s The Ba***ds of Bollywood, praised his acting skills. Bobby said that he told Aryan that he will miss seeing him as an actor in the series.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Bobby said, “He’s a very good actor! Had he not been an actor, he wouldn’t have been able to extract work out of all of us. Because he understands us. For instance, the famous scene in which Aasman (Lakshya) is being interviewed, Aryan is able to act out and demonstrate even the interviewer. He could do that with a little lisp. He’s such a talented boy.”

Bobby said that he called Aryan after watching the show’s teaser which features Aryan facing the camera. “I told him, ‘You know what I’ll miss the most on this show? I’ll miss you as an actor. He has such a persona! Yes, he looks like his father, but he’s not his father. He’s totally different, and people will realize that eventually.”

Shah Rukh Khan, however, had said during his appearance on My Next Guest with David Letterman in 2019 that he doesn’t feel Aryan can be an actor. “He doesn’t have what it takes to be an actor and he realises that too, but he’s a good writer. I think wanting to be an actor has to come from within. Something you really need to do and find a set of skill that helps you do it and learn it. But I think I realised it from him when he said that to me,” Shah Rukh said.
