Salman Khan praised Aryan Khan’s debut directorial web-series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood recently and said that he would rather have Aryan in front of the camera. Salman, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan shared the stage recently during an event in Riyadh.
Several clips from the event went viral. In one of those, Salman is seen saying, “Aryan made a web show, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. It has done really, really well. So now his upbringing is the same! He did not want to… I would rather have him in front of the camera, and super serious father… and like I said earlier, Aryan will be the only person he will be happy with if Aryan succeeds him (smiles).”
Shah Rukh chimed in and added, “Or if Salman has a son! Then I would like him to be the biggest star ever in the history of mankind. So, we are working on that. But like Salman said, all the youngsters now are now very video-literate and it has helped Aryan a lot.”
Created, co-written and directed by Aryan, The Ba***ds of Bollywood stars Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Manish Chaudhari, Rajat Bedi, and Gautami Kapoor inn pivotal roles.
Meanwhile on the work front, Salman was last seen this year in the actioner, Sikandar, which failed to leave a mark at the box office. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film also starred Rashmika Mandanna, Sharman Joshi and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
The superstar will be seen next in Apoorva Lakhia’s war actioner, Battle of Galwan. Salman recently wrapped the Ladakh schedule of the film that went on for over 45 days. The film revisits the harrowing 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops, a rare border skirmish that turned deadly without any firearms being used. Instead, soldiers resorted to hand-to-hand combat with sticks and stones. It also stars Chitrangada Singh and features music by Himesh Reshammiya. More details from the film are awaited.
