The trailer of Anshuman Jha’s upcoming dark-comedy thriller, Lord Curzon Ki Haveli was unveiled by the makers on Friday. Marking the directorial debut of Anshuman, the film has been written by Bikas Mishra and stars Rasika Dugal, Arjun Mathur, Paresh Pahuja, Zoha Rahman and Tanmay Dhanania in pivotal roles.

The trailer offers a quick glimpse into the film where Arjun and his partner, Zoha are living in a villa on the countryside in the United Kingdom. They are expecting guests on a particular evening. Enter Rasika and Paresh, who have a touch of mystery around them. There is a huge wooden box in the house which comes to Rasika’s notice and she makes a remark about its size. Arjun jokes that it has a dead body. There is an ongoing conversation about the joke which seems to irk the character of Paresh. Then the mystery thickens as a delivery person, played by Tanmay, enters the picture. The four of them play games and have a dinner party as the night seems to hold more surprises.

The film has been shot entirely in the United Kingdom and is set in the English countryside. “It blends together suspense, humour, sharp historical undertones, and a commentary on identity,” as per an earlier press release.

The film had its world premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and was the only Indian Film at Europe's biggest genre film festival - Razor Reel Flanders, last year. It also bagged the 'Best Director' award at the Prestigious UK Asian Film Festival in 2024 in London for Anshuman.

It is produced by Golden Ratio Films and First Ray Films and will be released in theatres on October 10.
