Sar Aankhon Pe Mere’, a new song from Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh’s Sitaare Zameen Par was unveiled by the makers on Thursday. Sung by Arijit Singh and Shariva Parulkar, it is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

The music video begins with melancholic guitar strums as Genelia carries a serious look on her face. Then Aamir enters a room. It seems to be a family get together for a festive occasion. Aamir has a sombre look on his face. The vocals by Shariva begin, carrying a stirring quality. Aamir quietly sits on a sofa as others dance around him. Genelia and Aamir share a glance and there seems to be some tension between the two. The music has a mellow feeling to it as the vocals by Arijit underline the emotions of love.

Directed by RS Prasanna, the film also stars Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Vedant Sharmaa, Naman Misra, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Ashish Pendse, Samvit Desai, Simran Mangeshkar, Aayush Bhansali, Dolly Ahluwalia, Gurpal Singh, Brijendra Kala and Ankita Sehgal.

Produced by Aamir Khan, Aparna Purohit and Ravi Bhagchandka, Sitaare Zameen Par will be released in theatres on June 20.
