Detective Sherdil (ZEE5, June 20): Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh stars as a playful detective in this quirky murder-mystery, produced by Ali Abbas Zafar and directed by Ravi Chhabriya. The turban-clad detective Sherdil is called in to solve a case of murder of a flamboyant billionaire played by Boman Irani as he is joined by a sharp cop, Natasha (Diana Penty). The plot gets thicker as family secrets and complex motives begin to pop up. The film also stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Chunky Panday, Sumeet Vyas, Banita Sandhu, and Kashmira Irani in pivotal roles.
Ground Zero (Prime Video, June 20): Emraan Hashmi plays BSF commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey in this military-thriller. Dubey spearheaded a critical, two-year investigation into a national security threat following the 2001 Parliament attack. This operation ultimately led to the identification and elimination of the terrorist mastermind Ghazi Baba in 2003. The film dramatises this operation. Directed by Tejas Deoskar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, Ground Zero released in theatres on April 25.
The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3 (Netflix, June 21): Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma returns to his celebrity talk show along with Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda. Navjot Singh Sidhu will be making a comeback to the show this time and sitting on the chair along with Archana Puran Singh. The first episode of the show will feature Salman Khan. It is set to premiere on Netflix from June 21 with new episodes dropping every Saturday at 8 pm
