In a new behind-the-scenes video shared by the makers of Sitaare Zameen Par on Wednesday, Shah Rukh Khan can be seen visiting the film’s set and interacting with the actors.
The video also gives a glimpse of Aamir Khan’s friendship with SRK. “Aamir told me 10 times. He said ‘come, meet the actors. They are doing so well.”
“Even 3 days ago, he told me, ‘Shah, tu ana yaar! (Shah, come over man!),” he added.
Shah Rukh’s visit, as seen in the video, has uplifted the spirit on the sets. The actors, who play characters with special needs, can be seen mouthing his dialogues from Darr (1993) and Baazigar (1993). One of the actors also recites SRK’s famous ’70 minute’ speech from Chak De! India (2007). IN the end of the video, all of them also pose for a group photo with SRK.
Sitaare Zameen Par, headlined by Aamir Khan, is directed by RS Prasanna. The film features new actors like Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar, who play differently abled characters. The film is a spiritual sequel to Aamir’s 2007 film Taare Zameen Par and also stars Genelia Deshmukh. It is scheduled to release on June 20.
