
Aamir Khan’s residence in Mumbai was visited by over 25 IPS officers recently. Several videos from his residence went viral where a bus and many police vehicles were seen exiting his house in Mumbai’s Bandra. The reason for the visit is not known.
Some reports claimed that the police team came to meet Aamir, however, there hasn’t been an official confirmation about the same. Aamir’s team told News18 that they are not aware of the reason behind the visit and are still figuring out the details with the actor.
Aamir will be leaving soon to attend the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne which starts from August 14. He is the chief guest at the festival and will be hoisting the tricolor as part of the festival's annual Independence Day celebration.
On the work front, Aamir was last seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par (2007) and an Indian adaptation of the Spanish film, Champions (2018). Helmed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par also starred Genelia Deshmukh alongside Aamir with 10 neurodivergent actors. The film was well-received at the box-office and turned out to be a success.
Next up, Aamir has a superhero actioner with Lokesh Kanagaraj in the pipeline along with a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke for which he will be reuniting with Rajkumar Hirani. As a producer, Aamir has backed the Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta starrer Lahore 1947 which is helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
