On December 8, Dharmendra would have turned 90. However, the actor breathed his last on November 24, just weeks before becoming a nonagenarian. On Monday, remembering his late father on his 90th birth anniversary, Sunny Deol took to social media to pen a note and share a video.
For Sunny, his father will always be a part of him. He wrote, "Today is my father's birthday. Papa is always with me, inside me. Love you, Papa. Miss you." (sic) He wrote this along with an old video of the veteran actor enjoying a scenic setting with mountains, telling Sunny, "I am really enjoying this, my son. It's lovely."
Dharmendra was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on October 31 when he complained of breathlessness. He was later discharged on November 12 and was recuperating at home. His final rites took place at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai, and the entire Hindi film industry paid a visit to his mortal remains.
On the work front, Sunny was last seen in Jaat. In the pipeline, he has Border 2, Gabru, and Lahore 1947 in various stages of production. He also has Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Part 1 and Part 2, in which he will be portraying Hanuman alongside Ranbir Kapoor's Ram and Sai Pallavi's Sita.
