A day after Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital, a video of his son Sunny Deol is going viral where he is lashing out at paparazzi for standing outside his home and intruding their privacy.
The Deol family has been going through a tough time since Dharmendra was hospitalised. Fake news of the actor’s death also went viral on social media, prompting his daughter Esha Deol and wife Hema Malini to issue clarifications and reprimand the media for being irresponsible.
In the video, being shared by various paparazzi pages, Sunny is visibly angry, folding his hands and requesting the photographers to leave from his premises. “Aap ke ghar mein maa-baap hai, bachche hai. Chu**** ki tarah video bheje ja rahe ho. Sharam nahi aati? (Don’t you have mothers and fathers at home? Don’t you feel any shame?),” he is seen saying in the video.
In a new interview Malini has said that Dharmendra’s children have been sleepless since the time he was hospitalised and are now relieved that he is back home. In a conversation with Subhash K Jha, in The Times of India, she said, “It has not been an easy time for me. Dharamji’s health is a matter of great concern for us. His children are sleepless. I can’t afford to be weak, too many responsibilities. But yes, I am happy he’s back home. We are relieved he is out of hospital. He needs to be among the people he loves. Baki toh sab upar wale ke haath mein hai (Everything else is in the hands of the Almighty). Please pray for us.”
Previously, responding to Dharmendra’s fake death news, Esha had posted on Instagram, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request that everyone give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery. Esha Deol.” Malini had also criticised the media for the same, writing, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”
