
‘Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri’, a song from Aryan Khan’s upcoming web-series, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood was unveiled by the makers on Friday. Shah Rukh Khan shared the song on X and said that ‘one of his favourites’. It is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, sung by Arijit Singh and written by Kumaar.
The music video features actors Lakshya and Sahher Bambba in a song which carries the intense emotion of heartbreak and love. Lakshya is seen expressing his sadness in various ways as he seems to have broken up the relationship with Sahher. The vocals of Arijit provide a release to his emotions as the music and lyrics highlight the longing which he feels. At one point, Lakshya is seen breaking bottles on the terrace roof and then shedding away tears. They are seen meeting at the end of the song finding it difficult to exchange glances.
Shah Rukh shared the song on X and wrote, “This young man Shashwat has done amazing work with the music of #TheBadsofBollywood. Bless you beta for the hard work, perseverance, and creativity. This love song from the score is one of my favourites. Shash you are Magic and Magic is you! And @kumaarofficial lyrics are lovely paaji!!”
Written and directed by Aryan Khan, the series also stars Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Gautami Kapoor and Rajat Bedi in pivotal roles.
Earlier, a preview of the show was unveiled by the makers which gave an extensive look into its filmy world full of meta references as it features Lakshya as Aasmaan Singh, an outsider on the way to become a superstar. His entourage consists of his live-wire of a friend, played by Raghav Juyal. is the haughty superstar Ajay Talwar, whose daughter, played by Sahher, is the romantic interest to Lakshay's Aasmaan.
Talking about the series, Aryan said, “With The Ba***ds of Bollywood, I wanted to build a world that feels alive, a mix of glitz and grit, where ambition shines, egos clash, and nothing is ever as it seems."
The Ba***ds of Bollywood has been produced by Aryan’s mother, Gauri Khan. It will be released on Netflix on September 18.
