Director Matt Reeves took to social media to share a new still from the sets of The Batman Part 2. Robert Pattinson returns as the caped crusader in the upcoming film, which is filming in London.
Robert Pattinson returns as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the upcoming sequel. The new look at the film, features the character standing amidst a snowy pathway in the streets of Gotham City. The Batman Part 2 is set during the winter after the events of The Batman (2022) and The Penguin (2024), with Mr Freeze rumoured to be a villain.
The cast of the upcoming film includes Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Jayme Lawson, Gil Perez-Abraham from The Batman (2022). Joining the sequel are Game of Thrones-fame Charles Dance, Scarlett Johansson, and Sebastian Stan who is set to portray Harvey Dent/Two-Face. Barry Keoghan is also rumoured to reprise his role as The Joker.
Batman Day is a commemorative day for the character, celebrated on the third Saturday of every September. The inaugral Batman Day was celebrated in 2014, on the 75th anniversary of the character.
